About us

Toeys is a Swedish brand that design and sell unisex slippers. The company was founded in 2024 with the vision of offering an affordable and elegant alternative to the cosy slippers that many wear at home today.

The idea for Toeys comes from a traditional slipper worn during the winters in Spain. The slippers have an classic profile with a closed heel, a sturdy rubber sole and a warm and comfortable inner lining in wool. This makes them work just as well as home slippers for relaxing evenings as indoor shoes for dinner parties. The durable sole means you can also use them outdoors, for example for coffee at your local café or a walk with the dog.

Manufacturing

The slippers are made in Spain using traditional methods. The textile part of the slipper is made first. The textile is then molded together with the heel, inner and outer sole via a hand-operated vulcanization machine. The process can lead to small vulcanization flows of rubber that get stuck in the textile. These small "defects" are part of the product's handmade identity.
